Investing in your yourself. The money I made on yesterdays commercial shoot didn’t go into a new pair of jordans. Nah, I bought another 1x1 litepanel, the mission is to offer my paying clients more options than my competition can at a reasonable price.
Putting more distance between me and my competitions is the goal. The gear game is like an arms race!
On June 22 I shot a music video for a client/rapper Dominick Pugliese aka (Streets). We shot at night in an abandoned factory in Kingston New York. I was a little worried because this was my first night time shoot as a DP on a music video using my own personal lighting kit, my fast Zeiss primes came in very handy because I didn’t need to keep them wide open during this shoot making focusing easier, especially since I didn’t have a budget for a focus puller, or a ac or a pa for that matter.
